Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
punch blank punch with straight shank with standard dimensions and tolerances
NOTE It is intended for machining to any particular point shape.
perforating punch punch to produce holes, the point end of which is forced through the stock and a die, simultaneously producing a hole and a slug.
